“A thought-provoking new work, "Enemies" incorporates video projections by Sue Rees, an internationally recognized artist and a Bennington College faculty member, and musical compositions by world-renowned drummer-composer Philip Hamilton, a 1982 Middlebury College graduate, to create an aural and visual collage of dance. The 30-minute work includes diverse texts drawn from the recently released National Security Archives, Lewis Carroll's "Walrus and The Carpenter," and responses to surveys conducted on the Middlebury campus to provide contrasting or concurring themes within the dance.”
